Alpine adventures, Spanish Hot Rock to Scottish Winter courses

Lot's of email enquiries so a quick note of the Scottish Xmas and New Year Winter Mountaineering dates which are 27th-31st December 2009 and 2nd-6th January 2010 and will soon be added to our dates page on our return from the Alps next week.
All the Aviemore, Cairngorm based course places are filling up quickly and we now have several confirmed text and email bookings for Xmas, New Year and several other dates.
The Winter Mountaineering and Winter Skills courses run weekly from the Xmas until Easter each year and the full list will be posted soon together with the November Spanish Hot Rock trips.
In the meantine we're still in the Alps enjoying the almost perfect sunny dry weather - almost two months of hot sunshine which has been fantastic for rock climbing but has not helped the mixed snow routes and glaciers in the Alps! We're returning next week and will hopfully bring some of the hot dry weather to Scotland as the alpine weather cools off - snow to 2200 metres next week in the Mont Blanc area!!!! In the meantime Fi is in the process of updating her blog showing some of July and August's adventures. See the September and August posts at http://www.marmotte.co.uk/blog/diary.html which wich will be updated with texts and lots of pictures over the next few weeks.
