Great weather and some exploratory Cairngorm winter climbing

Stunning 5th December weather for some easy exploratory adventure climbing in the Cairngorm's 300 metre east facing crags above the Strath Nethy.

Having explored several options in the past with clients and checking out existing lines with the SMC journals, AN and SR, we apparently climbed a brand new independent route on the 300 metre east facing crags to the top of Cnap Coire na Spreidhe.

 

We have since called the route Rampline at Grade II or more accurately I feel, -AD due to it's length open aspect and truly alpine feel!
