Yes winter has returned!!! Scott Muir of www.steepscotland.info hiked into Braeriach's Garbh Choire Mor for some steep skiing. The recent drop in temperature and refreezing of the spring snow weren't ideal for skiing but perfect for the climbing!

A few folk were climbing the easier snow and mountaineering routes at the weekend and reported good refrozen spring snow - better known as neve!!
