The ground is still soft and wet but should start to freeze up well over the coming week, if the MWIS weather outlook is to be believed!

Snow showers will affect many northern and eastern mountains, and particularly early in the week, areas of low cloud and rain will affect mountains in England and Wales. There remains significant evidence of early December being very cold: most terrain becoming frozen, and snowfall, in some areas significant (most likely northern and eastern mountains...."
