A wild gusty misty day's guiding with Thomas and John...
Low cloud and mist prevented us from seeing and photographing the crags in Coire an t-Sneachda but from what we could see there's been a lot of snow loss from my last visit on Wednesday.
The huge cornices above many of the climbs still seem to be above as there was not that much additional avalanche debris from last week.
It was too windy with painful blasts of ice particles to take many photos as we climbed up a shallow gully trying to get some shelter, though the wind seemed to be hitting us from every direction!
Near the top we reversed the route as it was too dangerous to climb up onto the ridge without being blown off.
John and Thomas enjoyed the experience and are keen to come back again for some more winter climbing in more settled conditions!
