Most winter routes in the Cairngorms, including the ice falls are now in good winter nick despite being thinner than normal.
The winds dropped today so Fi and I went for a wander and gander.
There were climbers everywhere so we did a bit of Crotched Gully, Spiral Gully and a rocky rib variation to the right of the main gully on superb snow, ice and lightly rimed rock, avoiding most other teams!
