On day three of our Christmas Winter Mountaineering (adv) course we had slightly different weather from yesterday, with rain at the carpark, then frozen kit and hair the higher we got.
We even had blizzards, whiteout, falling through an expected BUT unseen cornice and a MINI avalanche just to keep us ALL on our toes.
All in all perfect conditions for learning about weather, winter clothing, navigation, avalanches and winter survival techniques - all great fun!
